The 8th annual Run to Remember Gary Askin took place on Friday August 1st The run was similar to previous years as it started at the GAA headquarters at Tully and all age groups and fitness levels were welcome and the Run set off at 7pm.In record time the first runners were arriving back at base and received a hugeresponse from the spectators. This event has raised thousands of euro over the years and many organisations have benefited from the funds raised and this year was no different as the crowds arrived to participate and make donations all of which will be presented to CavanMonaghan Palliative Care and other local charities and worthy groups in the area.
